Raining, would you believe. Started about dusk, quite heavy at the moment. Loving it, cooled the place down and filling the water tanks.

Well the sunny day yesterday was short lived. Overcast again today, raining now. It was 22 at Scarborough today, where I met with a couple of cousins. Supposed to be 14 overnight. I like these sort of temps.

Im back in down town Melbourne after being in down town Townsville and WOW what a difference in weather. Hot up there and cold in Melbourne, just put the heater on in the room I am in until I leave for home.

Hmmm ..
At Boonah, Qld .. non-stop steady rain now for the past 24 hrs. Still not a problem here, but we are not yet ready to move out and all is well ..
The "28 day forecast" is not good for the Gympie area though .. actual conditions in a week or so will dictate my travel from here .. I certainly won't enter a sodden catchment area ..

Nor me Jonathan. Hasn't stopped raining since last night when I made the earlier post. I'm slighty above Gympie and more inland but you have had steady rain and so have I so must be the same in between. Can't imagine it raining for the next two weeks like this though.

The rain hasn't stopped here either. I had to drive up to son's near Ippy today...all the crazies are on the roads!
Looks like it's settled in for a week or so. Weatherzone says it'll be clear that week, but it is 2 weeks away. We'll have a better idea by a week or 10 days from now. Too early to worry about something that may not happen.
Thanks Doug. It was taken yesterday at Scarborough, I chopped my cousin out of it. (I kept the original though.)

We had a few hours of sunshine today. Managed to get the saturated washing off the line, re-spin, and now hanging under the house. Just in time for the next bout of rain.
Apparently 24 today, now 19. Tonight to be 16, so can't complain I guess.

In the Newcastle region it suddenly turned damp and very gusty this morning and has blown all day. We are parked about 10 mt from the waters edge of the north part of Port Stephens and the dolphins have been playing in our corner of the inlet - they don't worry about the weather - my husband says they have followed the tired fish in where the wind has brought them! No rain at the moment - hope it dries out a bit tomorrow. We were in Bowral last Tuesday night and I wore everything to bed plus added the layers on top plus a wheat pack AND a hot water bottle!! It was a very chilly wind factor!

Arrived at Tweed Heads last Friday and it it was very wet. Rained all night and and most of Sat. Sunday was showers on and off with heavy rain overnight, but now cold southerly and a little sun. Heading south to Coffs Harbour tomorrow, and hoping for a bit better weather.

Quite cool and windy here in Esperance, had a few light showers overnight. Looks like it will be more of the same today. Heading off across the highway tommorrow and the forecast for out there is light winds and fine so hope they have got it right.

Adelaide had about 13 ml of rain today. It's not all that cold, no wind, just damp. The nights are cool but comfortable.

I'm at my sisters at Tin Can Bay again for a few days, but the weathers not much different from home.
A high of 24, and a low of 17. Can't complain about the temp, but we are complaining about the showers. Bl**dy nuisance!

Beautiful day here in the central west of NSW. Frosty nights, but days in mid 20s. enjoying the sun, the birds and the light breeze on a farm owned by friends. That's good free camping!
