If it just sits there as a sticky, someone new will come along and start it up again, rather than delete it - new people all the time coming on the forum.
I think one of the problems is that if they are too easy, they go too quick, and some complain, didn't have time to work out who it was; then, the other side is if they are harder - they say - it is too hard, we have to know who they are if we are to guess them. It is not a guessing game, rather a game where you have to do a bit of research sometimes.
In my opinion, put the picture up, if there are no correct guesses in a couple of hours, give a clue (not cryptic, though- a lot of people do not understand cryptic) - a simple clue - and so forth, until someone guesses the name. I know this is what most of us do, but some do put cryptic clues, making it too hard.
Okay - Jack - who are we looking for this time?
