Autumn has got to be the best time to be in South East Queensland.
Currently I wake up to perfect blue skies & pleasant days of round the early 20s. Only a slight breeze.
The nights are just cool enough to use a doona.
Best of all the water temperature is still round 23 degrees. 15 to 25 forecast today.
Love this time of year.
We usually don't get winter rain but we did last year & someone suggested that there was some rain on the way in the next week or so. Hope not.
We'll be in Port Macquarie for the Iron Man event in a few weeks & I recall a very wet one a few years ago. Lets hope that there's not a repeat this year. If so we will spend lots of time in the Daughter's cabin on the waterfront at the Breakwater CP. (Our van site is immediately behind the cabin).

Have to agree Cupie, woke up after spending my first night as a full time GN at Beachmere caravan park to a magic morning, blue skies, seabreeze, and a GREAT cup of coffee, what a life, what a great country we live in.

Hot although we did have fog this morning and it was a bit cooler than normal. Someone said yesterday we have another couple of days of hot weather then it is supposed to cool down. By hot I mean still around 30 degrees.

It's really wierd to still be so hot this late in April. 28 degrees in Logan Qld yesterday...29 predicted for today.
Not that I'm complaining, the sun is shining and I love this time of year!
