Mike is known to spend a lot of time deep in the bush where he sees neither people nor cars for many days. Whilst he is there I believe that he has no mobile coverage, which may explain his apparent absence. Cheers

Do you think we should organise a seach party to join him, we could camp right next to him.
Jokes aside hope he well and enjoying his solitude.

More likely playing in mud down in SA, and loving it. When I have better internet I'll come back to forum.
Don't have trusty typewriter and wood all washed away for smoke signals.
AKA Possum.

Mike certainly can be a bit 'touchy' on occasions, and we have had our disagreements, but he is a man of well-above average intelligence, and I predict his return before too long. Looking forward to your return, Mike. Cheers

Mike has been hardened by Usenet. If he has been offended by anyone, he would have given it straight back in spades. Instead I expect that he is simply escaping from the madding crowd, as I am desperately wanting to do.
Guys I put a lot down to typical texting . The old codger is possibly having a great time ! Out there with generators campers near by ! AC/DC at 3/4 volume !!

I dont agree with some of Mikes opinions but that does not mean he is wrong. I know he does not agree with plenty of mine, but that is ok.
Just think how boring the joint would be if everyone held the same views and never expressed a contrary opinion.
I hope Mike comes back soon as I enjoy his input and knowledge not to mention some of his cryptic comments.

I certainly hope not.
But over the past few months I'm noticing quite a few Avatar's missing. My guess is arguments repeatedly initiated by just one or two members.

From one rant to another, I am shocked to see a post without quoting several links from google but in this case I have to agree, that, I cant wait until you escape as well.
I hope and trust Mike H is fine.
