Gday...
Welcome peacewalker.... you are in with the right mob here - we specialise in senior moments, making blues, misunderstanding what people say etc etc ..... then some wag will bring ya back to reality with a witticism or a wise, profound comment - then Wombat will make a cheeky photo of it all.
Cheers

Along with everyone else I'd like to welcome you to our forum. I found it a lifesaver (not to mention moneysaver) when I was first starting out. I'm sure that you're going to love your new lifestyle - all the amazing people that you'll meet and all the stuff you'll see. Have a great time peacewalker.

Welcome, welcome, welcome! No one is perfect at this, and there's no perfect way of doing it. Everyone is full of good advice, but there are some who are just full of it, but we love them anyway. Poor Jonny boy - having a blue moment, are we? Aw diddums. There, there now, Granny will hug it better. I'm good at hugs. You're not a novice anymore, that's why we expect better from you now. So there you have it Peacewalker. Consider yourself 'in'. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Robyn and welcome. There are lots of women solo travellers here. I'm gearing up to set off in March. Seems to be lots of preparation and research to do. But there are heaps of knowledgeable people here who are very patient at answering often repeated questions.
Do you have a timeline and what sort of set up are you thinking of? And where do you think you might head first?

Hello Robyn and welcome to the Forum from me too. You will find lots of advice, lots of laughs, a few slightly "unusual" personalities (code for mad) but a more caring bunch you will never find.
