I've been reading through the forum posts here for a while, and have thoroughly enjoyed reading about everyone's trips and experiences (and the wealth of advice as well!).
The problem is, I'm not terribly grey (although have a few grey hairs creeping in of late). I'm 28.
I don't think I really fit into the "yahoo, boozey backpacker" pigeon hole. I intend to take off soon just for some r&r, catch up on some reading, meet some new people and see some of this country that so many seem to take for granted.
So - am I allowed to play here too? Or do I have to wait for the grey hairs to talk hold a tad further?
Dave

We don't have too many prejudices Dave83 - some of us are grey, some aren't - you will soon know if you "fit in" or not. Besides our webmistress keeps a good eye on things here.

Welcome Aboard Dave...
I can't see any problems Dave, We even accept Wombats on here...
Your most welcome Dave, glad to have you onboard, we have two Wombats, Wombat280 is very civilized but the other Wombat needs a bit of training, Gubby and I try but doesn't always work......

I have no objections to you coming to play with the big kids - just be careful of the terrible trio - if you haven't figured who they are yet, you soon will.

Hi and welcome Dave. We are all here to learn and share. I wasn't aware of any age or other restrictions, so I guess you're in. It's really not up to any of us who stays and who goes. You'll work it out. I hope you enjoy your stay.

I should also mention that I'm in the process of (slowly) decking out my own little van. Just an older Mitsubishi Express - slowly getting it up to scratch for trips

Don't I know it...
Every time I look in a mirror I say, "Who IS this woman...and what have you done with my body"?
They are obviously rose coloured glasses he's wearing....

not too sure about that one, but I know that inside every fat person is a skinny person...

Undertall - that's one way of putting it - personally I would say short. Then again I am undertall - I think for my weight I need to be about 7ft tall

Just been to first time at Zumba - co-ordination is sadly lacking - but I will persevere - get the bottom half working right, then add the top half I think

I'm vertically challenged at should be 7ft tall too to be the right height for my weight. Behind this 61 yo head is a 35 yo brain. And I'm in that same shape. Round.
