i am in a free camp at Tambo just past Blackall,,, what a interesting place ,Blackall is , as soon as i got out of my van , i felt a very warm feeling inside, about this place ,, doesent happen often,,and its not the RED CORDEL... MA...heheheheheh
What a happy mob of campers you bumped into there Billee. Tambo has a roadhouse with great hot meals. I had the best lamb chops and a pile of veg. I camped next to the big truck I was escorting to Moranbah. The nicest sunrise over the lake the next morning. It's all good. Sounds like you're enjoying the country as it slides on by.

Hi Billee,
Glad your having a good time, is that pull down blind on the back of your van standard or did you have it specially made? What a great idea.
Can your remember what town near Blackall or Tambo had the statue of the bloke shearing a sheep in the main street? I thought I had a photo of it but can't find it at the moment!
