At least they only drink Vic beer. The Vicious Bitch will get you!
Venus is a bonza spot. You can get around to Pt. Labatt to view the mainland based seal colony.
Enjoy the whiting and cray fish.

Robinvale has a beaut park. Right on the banks of the Murray, but you probably already knew that! I haven't actually stayed there but my FIL lived just around the corner and we used to walk to the park quite a lot. It gets very busy during some ski race thingy's so you will need to enquire for a site. Hope this is helpful. Don't worry about those Crow eating people you will be safe in Vic.

Sorry Disco - time for lesson in english writing,
You of all people should know that the words " innocent, crow eaters & underhanded" should never, never be used in the same sentence...
pick your game up mate !!!!!!!

A friend of mine used to work on the Grapes in that area, and she says the CP at Robinvale is quite nice. Don't know prices or anything, but she says it's right on the River where the River Boats berth. Cheers, xina.

You are right Biggles...............I should never have done that.
If the world had been fair then I should not have had to do that because everyone would already know that the Crow-eaters are innocent (as opposed to naiive) and never underhanded.
Thanks for pointing that out!!

Drongo...............I never fight with a woman so if the "Petticoat Government" has the moola....she can keep it!!
I would never admit to anyone and if I was questioned.......I would deny ever saying it but .....I actually don't mind Melbourne Bitter.
Mate...... you will love Venus Bay........top spot. The Port Kenny pub is a great little pub and you will no doubt have a good time in there.
Make sure you drive around the bay and go into the Conservation park on the other side. It gets you to the opposite head, of Venus bay, to the township. We camped in there heaps of times.....loved the solitude and peace!!
In three weeks you should have time to have a good look around the area and of course it will be better than anything you find in Victoria :)
Have a Ball!!

well if you're bringing your own pigswill then I guess that will be okay, after all you cant give the muck away over here,
but I think Pirie and most of south australia will be closed on those days you mentioned, better off just depositing your money in the box provided and going home!
melbourne??? wasnt that an airborne disease!!
everytime I go over that damn bridge all I see is that little girl tumbling to her death after being thrown by her father, hell what I wouldnt give for two minutes alone with him!
yep I drink cascade and a little drop of whiskey and a little bourbon as well as Hahn premum!
mind you they are few and far between!

Demon Dave, tried the Coopers, had to spit it out and some went on the car. Not a problem though it removed the bitumen spots very nicely. West End now that is another matter, don't know what matter it is though, if you find out can you let me know. Back to the Carlton Draught.
