Why can't the smiling faces, friendliness and good wishes go on all year, not just at Christmas?
Hope you all have a good one and please stay safe.
Merry Christmas and a happy, prosperous New Year to all.

The dimples always seem to give me away, a lot like a tatoo really.
My grand children decorated our tree last night. The youngest is three and she was soooooooo excited. I love it.

Takes less muscles to smile than frown and I am a lazy bugger.

I wish you all a lovely Festive Season.
Personally I'm begining to despise Xmas. It always seems to be me doing all the travel to see distant rellies, driving 2 return trips Canberra to the mid north coast to bring one back to Sydney, then bringing them all back to Canberra for a "Holiday" then taking them all home and when you ask then a question you get eeeerrrrraahhhh as a response.... Then when I sit down for Xmas dinner with my tin foil beanie pulled over my ears so I don't have to listen to the inane conversation about what somones sister did in 1927 I get harangued... You crowd enjoy, I'll quitely fume the entire time... Bring on March!!!!

So what about your Xmas wish list. I always try to use some imagination when buying gifts (unlike my rellies who will give me a coffee Mug and Prince of Wales Tea bags) and I thought SWMBO would like a new cordless drill and found this beauty on the net especially designed for women too... It's a Drilldo.... Pic attached but it will get me banned but what the heck, I don't give a used tinkers damn....

I hope everyday from now on is Christmas Day for everyone. Keep safe and well, AND upright. Just be happy we can celebrate yet another Christmas and look forward to another New Year.
I'm getting the best Chrissy Pressie I could hope for - the removal of the malfunctioning adrenal gland - 16/12, Hospital, Brisbane. YAHOOOOOOO!
It will mean getting about 50% of my health back, losing, or minimising hypertension, restoring potassium levels to normal.
I was going to SA for the Chrissy/New Year break, but they'll have to wait for me now.
I'm not deferring this for anyone or anything.
In the new year I will have another trouble-making gland removed to give back another 15% of my health back.
The back can't be fixed, but I can live with that without all the other ailments.
There actually is really nothing wrong with me, but the persistent doctors insist on doing tests until they find stuff. It's all good, and call me weird, but I'm really excited about surgery.

Thanks everyone, I know it will be fine. The surgeon is an expert at this problem. That's why I'm having the trouble-making bugger removed. And when I've recovered enough to travel I'm going to haunt you all in SA.
Visiting family and catching up with friends for a week or so between Edithburgh and Lincoln. Not sure if I'll be able to get around too much.
Now Basil, I'm not sure about your gift selection skills. My cordless drill only came with 2 batteries, and a few bits.
