Hello one and all .. I was advised by a current member to visit this site and I find the concept excellent .. Many thanks Barb ! .. and give 'Mollie' a hug for me ..
Familiar with much of the outback and a current member of the HF radio group, the big decision was for me now to sell the house and hit the road .. THE DECISION IS MADE !
I will do that as soon as possible and get a small motorhome to keep me dry .. From here on, I will make the best effort to share and be part of this growing group of soloists ! .. Jon
.. lot of learning to do on here and a lot of reading past postings to hopefully get me a little closer to the flow of the site.
bye !

Hi there Dianne ..
thanks for the welcome. I'd love to say that I'm on the road, but I'm still living about 30 k's west of sydney. So far there seems to be a reasonable selling price in this area at the moment, so I hope to get on that band-wagon soon .. Like to get a motorhome, but I have a funny feeling I might be on the road for a few months in my current poptop before my 'order' is fullfilled ..
either way .. talk to you soon ..
Jon

What are you saying?
I hope it's nothing smutty.
Perhaps a couple could come and give you the cut. He can hold you down while she cuts - and then you're on your own.
You might just have to go to the barber like all the other "normal" people.
Be careful what you wish for. Chris

Don't get 'frazzled' Jon, as we all can get our fingers smacked occasionally. Unfortunately this English language can be read several ways. I had some odd and also funny incidents recently when visiting China. Main thing is to let it slide with smile or say 'Oops'

Hey there Griz .. You're quite right .. Everyone has their own opinion/interpretation about everything in life and I wouldn't have it any other way ..
How boring it would be if we were all the same ..

Hi Jon.
I'm the world's worst or best word twister. It's the English language, and a little bit of human nature. It's so much fun.
I wasn't offended, but I just had to have a shot. And I can do haircuts too - all by myself.
I didn't mean to frazzle anyone, just keeping you in line. Ha ha ha.
Like I said, "Be careful what you wish for". It's all good fun.
Cheers Chris

Sounds familiar. Barber charges me $!0 "search and find" fee and another $5 for wasting his time.
