Green lake is known for it windy conditions. We are currently camped alongside Broadwater Lake about 30 klms out of Dalby Queensland. Yesterday and today would just about equal the wind velocity of Green Lake. Rain and strong winds. Seems to be the norm at the moment in southern / western on the Darlin...

The weather is warming up and the Spring sun is shining more often...I can hear the Call of the wild as the Southbound surge towards the majestic Greens Lake. Oh, the tannins of the Happy Hours forthcoming!

Now I love Greens Lake but when a large group of friends arrive and set up next to you with two generators and the noisy end facing me going from 8.00am til 11.30pm ish, every day Greens is far from serenity. Bugga 'em. I know some of you would say to cut the power cords, put sugar in the tanks or just leave but...

Spent a delightful 3 nights here, and met Dougwe, Glenelg Dave, as well as Mr and Mrs Rocket Will recommend this camp, it is (up to date), probably one of the two best I had ever stayed at The entertainment from the boat ramp area, is something you would not be able to buy Suffice to say, if you are in the mark...

hello everyone. Oh my goodness. So much to see n do here that it is wearing me out. Must b time for happy hour. Saw the famous thong tree n strop is having a sleep. Watching all those boats being launched is wearing him out.
