Beach front places to stay in a van

Hidee ho fellow travellers, We are looking for a pet friendly place to stay that has absolute water frontage (preferably ocean) but river or lake is fine too. We live near Nambucca Heads, would want to travel two to four hours either north or south, and we are able to free camp. Cheers, Gwizz.
