Make sure you are signed in. Go to 'Advanced Editor'. Click on 'Attach File'. Choose you pic from YOUR file on YOUR poota. Double click on it. Right click on the forum where you want to insert the pic. Then click on 'Insert'. Hit return to place curser under pic then click on 'Remove' or the thunbnail will appear with your pic.

Finally, click on 'Submit post'.

All done.

Hope that is simple enough. I have been told I am simple so I can only explain in simple language biggrin

Edit....I did a run through with one of my pics and left the thumnail. Told ya I was simple biggrin

Gooday,

Thank you Doug for your assistance, but I am unable to find 'Advanced Editor' ?.

Perhaps it has another name on the reply  screen.

Advanced Editor?????   Click on Reply on the right.    I've never clicked on Advanced Editor but I have found it.  If you click on Quick Reply the Advanced Editor is at the bottom of the blank space.  We all learn something new every day.  Cheers.

You only need to click on "Advanced Editor" if you have commenced typing your reply in the "Quick Reply" box. If you have commenced your reply by clicking on the "Reply" or "Quote" button in the message you are going to reply to, you will already be in the Advanced Editor.

Gooday,

Thank you for the extra responses to my dilemma of adding  photo, had never send 'Quick Reply' until this time when I replied to The Topic on catching water off your awning. Hope I am able to remember how to attach a photo in future.

Sincere thanks to Tony Bev for going to so much trouble with diagrams and very explicit instructions for An Old Fool.

But...

I can assure you that you are not as foolish as me

I also had problems, the first time I tried to put up a picture

"Posting photos Photos can be included in posts. If youd like to upload a photo, just click on the grey attach files button which is underneath the space where messages are typed in. Navigate to your image file, click on it and it should appear in the post.  Problems may occur if the photo is too big ... please try to limit your image files to 3mb at most (files under 1mb are best)."

Pic below posted using instructions above.biggrin
