Welcome to the forum DKC.
If you are like me I found it has taken about 8 months to get out of that Time and Phone mode.
Many retirees used to tell me that once you retire you will be more busy than you were when working.....well I think they were correct.
Mind you, I would much rather be busy at retired than busy at work. biggrinbiggrin

Enjoy your travels

Welcome to the gang DKC, enjoy here and out in the playground.

W..k! I can't even bring myself to say that word....dirty word. I have said for the last 5 years that it is hard out here in the playground and I tell you that for free.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

I have heard many say, that one of the secrets of travelling, is that a happy wife, means a happy life

I hope that there are many happy road trips ahead of you

G'day DKC and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.

Gday DKC
Welcome to the forum you will find a lot of people who have experianced difficulty transitioning to the great experiance of retirement freedom, and it is true you will be more busy now than when working but you can take more time and enjoy a slower busy.
Hope you enjoy your time on the forum and we look forward to your contribution.
