Hi all,

Finally bought another van, although it is a doer upper it an old road workers van. I used to repair these type of vans when I was an apprentice years back built in 1975 it still has plenty of life left and I cant wait to get it on the road so I can start touring. Attached is a photo of the van.

Regards,

Alan.

G'day Trekka and welcome to the forum.  Don't forget to try the two ongoing games here - 'Who is This' in the 'I Digress' section and 'Pick this Place' in the 'General' Section - a great source to find new places to visit.  Have you thought of a build thread as you renovate - I reckon a few here would be interested :)

Hi All,

Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum, I have been pondering my plan of attack in relation to fixing up the old van and renovating the interior what to buy and where to place the appliances. I thought about doing a blog on the build but I didn't want to put people off caravans in general if I put pictures of the interior when purchased, lol.

Kind Regards,
Alan.
