How big a thanks can you give?

OK it's time for me to say a enormous thank you which doesn't happen very often, and that is  to JULES, who I reckon most people in here are familiar with. I'll start at the beginning. I am a 77 year old bloke who like most people at this stage suffer with Arthritis, particularly in my right shoulder, elbow and both thumbs. I mentioned it in "Health & Wellbeing" maybe about 3 months ago and Jules directed to another lady in that page and one thing lead to another. For a paltry $50, I purchased a liter of Manganese oil and 2 spray bottles. I started off with my wife rubbing my right shoulder 2 & 3 times per day and after about 8 days I said to my wife, "I can't believe it but I have been pain free for the last couple of days". So at this stage I started taking a bit of notice of things, and started rubbing the oil myself into my shoulder, elbow and thumbs a couple of times a day and life is a dream. About 2 weeks ago because of distractions I forgot to rub it in for 2 days and sure enough, I was back in the pain  cycle because. To cut a long story short, I have absolutely no pain at all and am rubbing it in myself once per day and life is a dream.  Now I am a retired Mine Manager  not a Medical Person, and my good fortune may not apply to everybody, but to any people perusing these pages in a similar position and age as myself I would strongly recommend rubbing Manganese oil into you sore spots on a regular basis. If it is any help I would suggest you put 4 or 5 squirts onto your hand and rub it in, do that twice per session. Do that to your painful spots and assess the situation after 2 weeks of continual treatment. After that you can modify the regularity and volume to suit your personal situation. I am now going to give the oil the big test next, as I suffer with Peripheral Neuropathy  which gives me burning stinging feet. Because it is nerve damage, and most pain killers don't help with nerve pain, so watch this space.  I wait with baited breath to hear your replies in the next 4 to 6 weeks after starting. Once again we are all different and I am a natural born pessimist and on cloud nine, so there is hope for you also.

Hi Aussie,
Glad to here that you have found some relief for your pain.
My daughter put me on to Magnesium oil to rub into sore joints and it definately works marvels. I will not be without it now.
She gets it from a supplier just out of Ingham in N Qld if I remember correctly.

My old mum (aged 97) was diagnosed with arthritis in her forties. She was told that within ten years she would crippled with it. A herbalist suggested she take a half teaspoon of Epsom Salts each day in water. She did this and her arthritis disappeared. Every so often over the last fifty years she has stopped taking it and the arthritis comes back within days.

Now at 97 years young she is still completely free of arthritis. Her doctor gives it no credence, the local horse trainer uses it for a poultice for joint pains for his horses.

Go figure!

John, I am so happy you have gotten such good results from the magnesium oil - I used it myself today, and my back pain is no more. Thank you for your kind words.

We will be coming to visit while we are over in WA - well, we are there now, but only at Belladonia - be good to meet up.

Aussie I hit her facebook link in your post and your letter is showing $60 for 600ml of oil not the $50 for 1 litre you posted so which is correct please.

My wife suffers bad arthritis in her hand I will try anything which will help her pain. Like you I also suffer badly from nerve pain down my legs and across my feet where it brings tears to the eyes so always looking for some thing to try. Cheers

Hi CC Bear. I will try and answer for you - the oil from Treasured Earth is $60 posted anywhere in OZ. They post every Tuesday, so often have within a few days. I highly recommend this particular product from TE, as it has nothing but de-mineralised water and magnesium flakes - no actual oil, doesn't stain your clothes. I am sure your wife, like many others I know, will find relief from her pain - it is a product that penetrates the skin and goes to the source of the pain, some people have said they take magnesium tablets, but the problem there is that they have to go through the digestive system, and be shared through the whole body. With the oils, it goes direct to the painful area, giving pretty rapid relief. It often takes a week or so to notice that you are not in pain as bad as you were.

Please contact Katherine by the email above, she will help you, no problem.

Also, there is no need to dilute it, you don't need to use a lot of it, just a spray or two on the affected area.

I am thinking of trying it on my son, who has cluster headaches, and has to take pills every day to keep them at bay, not nice pills either, so hopefully the magnesium will help him. One of my grandsons has just been diagnosed with cluster headaches as well.

Good luck with it - let us all know how you go.

Thanks for the back-up Jules, and as I said above I have had 100% pain relief. When I first got it I was a bit pessimistic, and started with 3 sprays per day, now I have one session and am pain free all over. I am going to start 2 sprays per day on my feet and see if it helps with nerve pain the way it does with Arthritis, watch this space.
Cheers.... Sim, oop's Aussie.

Ooops ! indeed!  = I think it will help the nerve pain, Billy has like a supersensitive foot (from diabetes) - but I am spraying them most nights, and he said it is "different" - not quite as touchy - he's happy with it.

OK, it is now over 4 months since I took Jules advice regarding the Magnesium Oil thingy, and as a bit of follow-up I can honestly say that my right shoulder, elbow and 2 thumbs are 100 % pain free. I am not guaranteeing that it will work for everybody. What I am guaranteeing is that if you are in my group (over 70), and have those niggling annoying pains in your joints and don't try it you are EEeeerrrrr, very brave is the nicest way I can say it. For those that want to give it a go, I started out with 2 to 3 rubs per day but now I give my shoulder  about 4 sprays per time 2 times in the one session (Evenings), same for elbow and it is happy days. Yep too easy to be true, but that's life. I would be interested to know if anybody took my advice after my first scribble back on the 6th Aug and what you now reckon.

I hope they did take your advice Aussie - I know you can get magnesium oil from chemists, etc., but often it has other additives, perfumes, or lotions - haven't tried them, so don't know how they work.

All but one person that I know who has tried the one I use, has had really good results. I would like to know if anyone else on here has tried magnesium oil - from wherever they choose to get it from.

So happy for you Aussie - we are just above Perth now, and will be coming up for a visit before too long.

Blues Man - they will have an effect over time, but if you want daily relief that is almost instant - get the magnesium oil liquid - in a spray bottle - because you are spraying it on your skin, it is absorbed easily into the skin and tissues, right down to the bone - especially if you follow Aussie's regimen - you will notice the difference, I am sure. The pills, on the other hand, have to go through your digestive system before they start spreading through your body, and yes, you may get some relief of pain - maybe - I have know people who took the pills for a long time, and had no effect whatsoever on their pain level - started with the oil - bingo - hey, I can move my neck!

I am not selling this product - and have no financial interest in the product - I believe it works, I KNOW it works - have seen amazing results, and I just give people a spray from my bottle, point them to the facebook page (Treasured Earth) -and it is up to them.

Blues Man, I can back up everything that Jules says after more than 4 months totally pain free. I spray my shoulder, elbow and thumbs every night while watching the news and am really happy with the result. Occasionally I miss an odd night, but stay pain free. I am a 77 year old Mechanical Fitter, Milkman, Mine manager and Roofing contractor to name a few, so had a fairly active life and am grateful for the Magnesium Magic.

I second Aussie's motion. I used some on my neck - courtesy of Jules - for a couple of weeks before getting a spray bottle for myself. I can turn my head from side to side a lot further now than I could before. Still a slight twinge at the extremities but so much better now, particularly when driving. About three short squirts on my neck twice a day, then rub it into the skin, does the trick.

Blues Man - go to the Treasured Earth site - fb page - they post out on Monday or Tuesdays - $60 gets you a 600ml bottle and a spray bottle, small enough to carry around with you / Or just put magnesium oil in a search engine - you will fid Treasured Earth and Katherine, send her a message of what you want - and your address and name - she will get back to you with bank details. (Postage is included)

After I read what Aussie said about magnesium oil plus Jules' comments I bought a 250ml spray bottle of "Amazing Oils Magnesium Pain Relief" for my wife (Joy). She has religiously applied it for over 3 weeks to her aching shoulder but with no apparent or marked pain relief, however she did mention this morning that the shoulder was not so bad but was not convinced it was due to the oil. So for us the jury is still out.

Regards.

The brand I chose (Amazing Oils) had the highest rating on Google and contains "100% Australian Organically Certified Magnesium Chloride", also it's stocked in heaps of shops so, as the bishop said to the actress, it must be good! Not cheap at just under $40 for 250ml.
After I posted above, I quizzed Joy about how she has been applying the product and apparently she only sprays it sparingly on her shoulder after her evening shower so maybe that needs looking at.

Regards

I think that is what you should look at - if you read Aussie's post, he said he started using it three times a day, I think, and you don't need a lot, but I think more often is better than less often, in this case.  This is what I have found anyway.  Good luck with it.  The Treasured Earth one Aussie uses is $60 for 600ml, posted, anywhere in Australia.

Got my latest order on Wednesday, from Darwin, posted Monday.

As I said above I am a Mechanical Fitter not a Chemist or Doctor, but I put my happy pain free life down to Katherine's oil. After looking around there seems to be a lot of variations of Magnesium oil, and I don't have a clue as to what the variations are. So I am only recommending Treasured Earth's product.

Hi Denis - let us know how your wife goes, using more often - interested.  Some of the magnesium oils are mixed with lotions (sorbelene, etc.,) and/or oils and perfumes - the Treasured Earth is the pure flakes and de-mineralised water, soaks into the skin well.  No staining on clothes etc.

Thanks for the comments - the stuff we purchased says "100% Australian organically certified magnesium chloride"....now I'm not a scientist but I'm guessing magnesium chloride is a chemical so how can it be 100% organic?   Google tells me it can be extracted from brine or sea water.....organic???

I might send them an email asking for an explanation.

Regards

I bought a 250ml spray bottle of Pure Organic Magnesium Oil from the Eumundi Market a few months ago.
Reading the label it says
100% Australian Organic Magnesium Oil
From www.downunderoil.com.au
Apply directly on skin and massage in.
Haven't used it much but after reading all these posts I will get on to it promply and regularly.

A gentle rub is all you need, and not too much - it soaks into the skin, and as you apply it over time will reach the trouble spot/s and start to help them, not saying it cures arthritis or any other thing, but hey, if you can relieve and live without pain - I say go for it. Three times a day, the last time before bed, also great for restless legs if you know someone who has that problem. Headaches, itches, sore or sensitive feet, I say - give it a go! Nothing to lose.
