Innsbruck outside the city. Austria.

20170525_160828-1.jpg20170525_162455-2-1.jpgHi All.

We went for a tram ride up into the mountains just above the city of Innsbruck to the alpine village of Egles, as its summer, a great area to walk about in though the village itself or down around the farms along walking tracks into the forest.

In winter this area is generally covered with snow, it is June and we are enjoying a beautiful summer with temperatures in the high twenties.

The photo of a vegetable plot are owned by the village people as a hobbie and rent the ground from the farmer for the purpose of growing there own vegetables. Interesting concept.

The 30 minute tram ride cost us as seniors 11euros each for 8 rides, cheap as but funny we only use the tram when we are so tried from walking we just can't walk no more. Innsbruck most people ride bikes or are encouraged to use public transport.

Any way here is some more photos of our wonderful summer time visit with our son and daughter in law here in Innsbruck.

Not sure how I missed this thread Radar, sorry mate. Great pics and some amazing buildings over there. Great backdrops as well. That first pic looks just like my holiday home down south.

Always good to see your pics from over there. Thankyou.

At 6 am on a Sunday morning, that really started my morning off with a big giggle. Not to bad a summer home but I know you rather be at Greens Lake.

Was a castle, no a hotel accommodation.

Thank you and our stay is drawing to an end.
