Coober peady to William creek

hi fellow GNs planning a trip to Coober peady then across to William creek ( then back down to the flinders ranges ) just wondering what the road is like , where have a 24 ft 5th wheeler, so not a camper trailer made for the really rough stuff but having said that I have lived all my life on a farm so I am no stranger to a few bumps and holes and sand, it's the sand or at least long hilly stretches of sand I don't particualy want to tackle in the 5er so hence the question

Been a while since I have been through, it is a good gravel road with the normal surface subject to weather.
cheers

There this time last year road was OK'ish but ensure you don't put your rig off main road surface even if it looks dry - They are a real buggar to get back on the road when they sink to all axles (Tug & Van).

Thanks guys my map rates it as " major but un sealed road "
So it sounds like it's just a normal country road ok when dry, avoid when wet .

Sound like experience talking there possum3 . Lol
