we went to melbourne mainly for the comedy festival. Got the train from berwick, about an hour out of the city. the first night we went to an italian restaurant in lygon street for dinner. Then walked to the theatre n saw will anderson. Such a good night.

had to visit the giggest, i am told, shopping centre in australia at chadstone. 2 levels, glass roof. A bit hot. Had a green melon ice cream, very nice.

another night at the comedy festival. This time to see rove mcmannus. Had a good night.

always was a fan of the show "the sullivans" so went to see the shop in the show. It is privately owned now but the people who own it were very nice n let us have a look. Highllight of my holiday.

we needed to do some shopping so decided to go to fountaingate shopping centre. A man attacked a woman with an axe. i won't go into it but if you are interested  look up fountaingate axe attack on your computer. Omg. I said to strop "take me home".

Another good job Rocket.

I lived near Chady many many moons back as a young fella. I Remember when it was Myer and a few shops, including 'Downyflake' donuts. You could stand outside and watch the donuts being made.

I spent many hours at Fountain Gate as well but much older. I would come up from South West Gippsland to the Cinema, they have a big screen there.

Went to Chadstone when I was about 7 or 8. They had a kids Ferris wheel that I went on and it got stuck. I was up close to the top and it took half an hour to get it working and get us down. Been scared of heights every since.
