Some of our travels

The link below, under my name, will take you to my current blog site.

This has two sections. One contains all our trips with the Coaster bus since we bought it in 2012 - The Bus 'n Us.

The other section is from when we had the 4WD and offroad van. It contains trips of several months duration that we did in 2007 (to the Kimberley and places in between), 2009 (NSW and Qld as far as Forrest Beach), 2010 (shorter trip to SA). Gone roaming.......

You can move between these two sections by clicking to the right of the little picture in the About me section, to the right - click on the underlined bit that reads  john and wendy

Good read Wendy. I did that road from Kyneton to Heathcote on the 21/9. I also came across that bridge and hadn't seen one like it too. I thought it could be a bit of a squeeze to get a van through it. There was a double B not far up the road and wondered if he got through. I have a feeling he might have to back up though.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

I have finally managed to get started on blog notes that will cover our earlier travels - from when we took early retirement and went on the road full time.

I still - years later get asked lots of questions about how we set up, where we went, how we travelled, how I managed meals - and so on. Although these early travels were years ago, much would be the same, were we to be starting out again, now. So, I hope this new addition, which will eventually span a number of years, will be informative and of interest to current and would-be travellers.

Yes, it is interesting looking back at the prices we paid for fuel then - and also for caravan parks.
