Everything old is new again ...

Not new to caravanning but definitely new to The Grey Nomads Forum!

Hubby (Barry) and I (Cheryl) did the big lap 2006-2008 in our Windsor Rapid.  Got waylaid in the Pilbara for quite a while which certainly helped our financial position somewhat.  Learned a lot about what we wanted in our 'forever van'.  Have just ordered our new travelling home - 20'6" Roma Elegance - hoping to pick it up in March next year!  So happy about having our own bathroom facilities!!!

Looking forward to getting on the road again.  Planning some shorter trips for a while until Barry retires and then looking forward to heading off on another tour around the island:)

Last time around we travelled with two furry friends - Sasha (the dog - Pomeranian x Maltese), who is now 12 years old, and Tabitha (the cat) who was 15 when we set out on our journey.  She made it all the way around with us and finally gave up on life at the ripe old age of 19. Next time we will be taking a couple of feather friends with us to keep the dog company!

Looking forward to reading all the tips and tricks and hearing about some of the fantastic journeys you are all on.

Welcome Barry and Cheryl.

I hope you enjoy your new Roma when it arrives and then all the years of travelling this wonderful country. We are on our second Roma and have never had a problem except those little ones that pop up. Our Roma is somewhat older than yours (Elegance 2005) but having your own shower and toilet is very luxurious and we couldn't do without it now.

Happy travels

Pam and Barry
