..its nice that your legacy lives on. Its been a long and rambling conversation- much like our travels. The person below once said ..
Thanks Rosie, I was told this little quote yesterday, "it is better to seek forgiveness rather than permission", but then the person below me may say...
Your dead right about that Rosie........ I have been naughty at some point....... but we shall not go into that here ........
I am surprised however at the lack of transparency from other forum members hiding by the cloak of silence......surely there are more who have been naughty.
Unlike the person below who has been very indulgent.........

Your right , i`m also really bloody fed up with tv re-runs of outback trucker, especially the wingeing bugger with the jandals ,whilst the bloke below.......
.... just reckons he and his wife should stop watching those TV dudes and their stupidity and get out here and spend a few days near a quiet beach and try the new awning fitted way back in March/April as well as the repaired fridge.
You know the Nike thing about "Just Do IT", well it is about time to DO IT and see what the other action folk below .......

...are not doing. We're stuck at home in Melbourne as Covid lepers. The caravan is all spruced up and ready to be packed, but we are not allowed to go anywhere until who knows when. Anyway SWMBO and I have each other, we are healthy, kept occupied and have good food to eat. The kids and grandkids are on video phone and the weather is improving. Life is good, but we are still envious of the person below who....
...... only too glad to be free of 5k radius then 25k radius restrictions and can be free to tour and enjoy our big wide wonderful island even getting into WA without needing to fill in eternally Public Mis-Service forms full of jargonised gobbledegoopjust to get back home into SA ...........

.... or Queensland, who sadly but effectively shut the gate on all travellers. (no further comment on this please)
But, here we are now, well into 2023, We can freely travel between states without the concern that we may or may not carry or get the C.V. Our biggest concern as we cross borders is - can I take this pineapple, this jar of honey, well there is only a teaspoon left. Will they knock me back on my carton of XXXX?
So, life is back to normal, I sit in my office, no longer living in a caravan, but having fun going thru photos, maps and diaries.
The next person will now tell me......?
