No Radar. It‚s NT. In easy driving distance to a major natural tourist attraction.

No, and to be fair i didn't find this place from tourist info but from the camp hosts where we were staying.†

This is a WW11 armament depot, south of Darwin. Our Camp had a "creek" in its name and this place also has "creek" in its name but a different creek than camp. I won't drag it out too long. See how we go †

Just to clarify, Silverton South Australia is down the bottom of the Fleurieu Peninsula,†not far from the Kangaroo Island Ferry departure point. (not exactly†near Renmark, but they are in the same state.

Thus endeth my geography lesson.†And I now have somewhere else to visit next time in SA.

Thanks Dianne, Knew I had seen it, just a case of where did I see it.....

As for this picture, it popped up on my screen saver this afternoon, so I thought it was quite appropriate to put it on PTP. Where is this lonely abandoned homestead

and Gooba, you should always go with your first instincts.

We visited this area first back in 2009 at Christmas. We went for a walk over the pound before sunrise. Would have to be one of my most favourite parts of Australia.

Where to now.

Dare I say 'in front of the camera'!

Sorry gooba53, couldn't resist :)

I would say Northern queensland but couldn't narrow it further.
