Camping in The Kangaroo Valley N.S.W

Hi,Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, hints etc about Caravanning in the Valley.Either free or park sites are ok.We do have a dog though. From the Valley we are heading further South to Batemans Bay or thereabouts. We then intend to carry on South and go along the GOR.Then back inland to Karuah. This is to be a meandering trip,no time table,no long daily distances.(No problems) lol.Cheers Ibbo.smile

I don't know much about the Kangaroo Valley, but if you want a 'free camp' go to Moruya Heads.  It might cost you $8.50 a day (not per person) and you can have a dog.  It's on the edge of the ocean, and also the Moruya airport where you can watch skydiving - it's fantastic.  Just south of Batemans Bay.

Fabulous!

Its a beautiful little spot Kangaroo Valley I go through there when I go to visit my parents who live on the other side of Wotamolla Mountain. The caravan park there which is close to town is dog friendly its called Glenmack I think and easy walking distance to the village. The other camping grounds out of town on the river don't allow dogs. chezgo
