Off To Adelaide

G'day all,

We won't be around for a while, off to Adelaide tomorrow without the caravan, will need transport whilst there so we are driving over from Perth. B in Law not too good and his wife has had an extreme allergic reaction to Penicilin, so we are taking off a week earlier than at first thought.  Don't know how long we will be there but will try to log on to the forum on someones computer.

I must say it has been a pleasure reading and replying to the messages and would like to take this opportunity to say this is the best forum I have had the pleasure to be a member of, so many nice people to chat with and unlike some of the other forums no snarly messages, a real pleasure.

Will catch up again in the future, until then may you all have a wonderful time travelling this great country of ours.

Best Regards and Safe Travelling to All.

John

G'day all,
Many thanks for all the kind thoughts, whilst the sister in law will get better the BIL is on the downward slope and not expected to recover so it looks like we will be there until the end and while we are all prepared for it I am sure it will hit us quite hard when the time comes.

Enough of all the doom and gloom we are looking forward to returning to Perth and getting ready for our trip around the block.  I had a quote from a caravan repairer to re-tention the springs on my van and undersling the axle, quote was $700.  Had a bit of a phone around and found a local firm in Rockingham that did the job for $200 and did a good job to boot.  My 1984 Jayco Songbird now looks like an offroader and Irona maintains just getting into it is like mountaineering, I reckon it will help her to get fit, won't mention losing weight, I have to sleep sometimes. Lol.

Once again thanks to all for the kind thoughts.

Best Regards and Safe Travelling.
John
