Hi all Despite this place having only 10 bays and only for self contained vans (listed in wikicamps as a free camp), it is one of the most magnificent places we have stayed. For $15 a night it is a friendly place to park. Make sure you do the free tour of the property, a real eye opener and makes you restore yo...

Lucinda Point Caravan Park
(Preview)
This park is well priced, with clean facilities and grounds. A fisher persons paradise. You would need to book in the cooler months, as the regulars book from year to year. Although it is a busy park, it is a lot quieter than the Red Claw trappers at Fairbairn Dam. It is well worth the visit. Darmc

Good Park in Carnarvon
(Preview)
We are currently at the Oasis Outback Caravan Park in Carnarvon, and we fine it one of the best we have stayed in. Much tidier than the Big 4 down the road, prices are best in town,WIFI, and the amenities are really good. We liked it so much, stayed an extra week.

Caravan Parks on Phillip Island - Recommendations?

Folks, when we buy our first van, its "shakedown" trip will be to Phillip Island. Now, I'm familiar with it, usually there at least twice a year for the motorbike racing (and sometimes for the V8s). But I've stayed in people's places, so I'm not familiar with the caravan parks there. So, I'v...
